Who are you?

I’m Christopher John Virtucio (CJ for short). I’m a software developer based in Fairfax, VA. I’m a proud rabbit owner, and a regular donor to the Fairfax Animal Shelter.

What is your expertise?

In the past, I’ve dabbled a bit in Javascript and ReactJS. I’ve also done a bit of Spring MVC. Eventually worked on CLI applications to support ETL processes using dotnetcore (which later became simply .NET), and a python application for GIS. Lately, however, my work has been “DevOps”-oriented, writing terraform to provision infrastructure and building python and golang applications to support other engineers.

What are you working on now?

I’ve been busy setting up IoT infrastructure at home. My goal is to have a k3s cluster with a mix of fun experiments and automation supporting my day-to-day. Hopefully I find the time reach that goal!
